These requirements are for the optional Alabama High School Diploma with Advanced Academic Endorsement.

Foreign Language units (H/CP) 2 units in the same foreign language. (0 units reqd. for std.)
Notes/Citation: "Students may earn the advanced career/technical and the advanced academic endorsement concurrently if the elective credits ... are used to earn the required credits in foreign language." 
Electives units (H/CP) 3.5 (5.5 reqd. for std.)
Notes/Citation: "Students may earn the advanced career/technical and the advanced academic endorsement concurrently if the elective credits ... are used to earn the required credits in foreign language."

Technical notes and citations (H/CP) Honors diploma is called the Alabama High School Diploma with Advanced Academic Endorsement.
