These requirements are for the optional technical diploma pathway in Arkansas.

Notes/Citation: Same as standard, except that 1 unit of world history can be replaced by 1 unit "Global Studies."

Notes/Citation: While college prep. diploma requires 2 units of lab science chosen from biology, chemistry and physics, "at least two credits [for technical preparation core curriculum] must include content which is equivalent to science courses in the college preparatory track. Equivalent courses must be taught from an applied curriculum that uses manipulatives and appropriate technology and is approved through the Instructional Services Section of the department of education." 
P.E./Health units (TD) Same as std. 
Arts units (TD) Same as std. 
Foreign language units (TD) See notes
Notes/Citation: 2 units of foreign language "recommended but not required."

Technical Preparation Core Curriculum requires 3 units; "at least two credits must include content which is equivalent to mathematics courses in the college preparatory track. Equivalent courses must be taught from an applied curriculum that uses manipulatives and appropriate technology and is approved through the Instructional Services Section of the department of education."
