"Three-year standard college preparatory program" option is effective Class of 2007. Students must also have minimum grade point average. Students must also complete at least 6 of the 18 units in honors, dual enrollment, Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), Advanced International Certificate of Education, weighted courses, or courses identified by the department as rigorous. Eff. Class of 2010, weighted and honors courses do not automatically fulfill the 6 out of 18 units requirement. This option is not fully aligned with state-set college admissions course requirements.
